• Intro to Power Point

Activity

Today we will continue our introduction to the basics of Power Point. We will watch Mrs. Boone demonstrate on the SMART Board, then we will get into the program and start working ourselves! We will make a Power Point that represents "us" and either share it on the wall outside of the classroom or bring it home to put in our rooms, hang on our bedroom doors, or hang on the fridge at home!

By the end of class, we will know how to:

• Open a new Power Point
• What can go in a text box
• What needs to be done to type into a text box
• How to delete a text box
• How to insert a text box
• How to insert clip art
• How to search clip art

Assessment

Students will be assessed as follows:

• Self direction and on task behavior
• Was student able to:
  • Open a new Power Point
  • Insert a text box
  • Edit a text box
  • Insert clip art
  • Print to the color printer
